Donny Osmond - so conservative, he still records on reel to reel
From Radio Info, Australia

From tonight, the now not so “little” 52 year old grandfather Donny Osmond will host a new music and entertainment show for Canberra’s 2CA and Perth’s 6IX, weeknights from 7-10pm. It is already syndicated on over 50 stations in the U.S.
Osmond’s website <http://www.donny.com/> says of the show, “His lifestyle fits your lifestyle. His show will always be friendly for the family. The entire family can listen to Donny’s show and mom & dad will NEVER have to be embarrassed in front of their kids because of something that they heard on this radio show.”
During his career, Osmond has been a singer, actor, triple-threat television series host (talk show, game show and variety show), best-selling author, commercial spokesperson, motivational speaker and a race car driver. Reflecting his multi-generational worldwide fan base, his Web site, donny.com, receives a staggering 120 million-plus hits annually.
Capital Radio Network’s Don Dawkins says, “Donny Osmond is a classic performer who has spent the majority of his life bringing smiles to audiences around the world and continues to captivate his tremendous fan base today. The chance to bring his talents to our stations is a rare opportunity. A lot of 2CA and 6IX listeners have grown up with Donny and is still a popular favourite.
“Donny is such a relatable, natural personality and has historically drawn the interest of a wide-ranging audience. His popularity and success on America’s “Dancing with the Stars” has reminded all of us what a dynamic performer he is and charmed a new generation of fans as well,” said Dawkins.
